Arrival directions

By plane:

TheBilbao Airportis located on the outskirts in Loiu locality. To reach Bilbao from the airport there is a bus and taxi service.

The bus service is provided by the Bizkaibus public service number A3247 every day from 06:15 to 23:15 every 30 minutes, followed by a last service at 00:00.

The last stop is the Termibus bus station that is close to the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao. A single ticket costs 1.40€. In the other direction, the bus leaves Termibus towards the airport every 30 minutes from 05:25 to 00:00.

By bus:

The main bus station of Bilbao calledTermibusis located near the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao. There are regular connections to Santander (75 minutes) San Sebastian (60 minutes) and Madrid (arriving at Avenida de Las Americas bus station, 4-5 hours) among others.

By train:

There are many train lines in the city: Renfe, Feve and Euskotren. However, the lack of high speed rail is a drawback to reach Bilbao from far destinations by train.
